Golden Milk is een boost voor je immuunsysteem. Drink elke dag een kopje en je verbeterd je weerstand en energielevel. En dat kunnen we in deze tijd wel gebruiken!
Dit recept komt van Charlotte Labee. Door haar geïnspireerd begon ik een paar maanden geleden aan mijn eerste kop Golden Milk. Een warme drank met kurkuma als hoofdingrediënt. Vanaf de tweede kop was ik fan! Ik moest namelijk even aan de smaak wennen… Geef jezelf dus even de tijd als je het niet direct lekker vind. Nu neem ik graag elke dag een kop Golden Milk.
De naam heeft het uiteraard te danken aan de geel gouden kleur van het drankje. Ik voeg er altijd flink wat kaneel en een klein beetje honing aan toe. Voeg deze ingrediënten toe naar je eigen smaak. De zwarte peper en olie zorgen ervoor dat de kurkuma ook echt wordt opgenomen door je lichaam. Los kurkuma ergens overheen doen heeft daarom niet dezelfde werking als dat je het op deze manier mengt en drinkt.
Wat maakt deze Golden Milk nou zo gezond?
Voor mij genoeg redenen om dit toe te voegen aan mijn dagelijkse eetpatroon.
De kurkuma pasta maak je 1 keer. Dit kun je minimaal drie tot 6 weken bewaren in een afgesloten pot in de koelkast. Hier kun je heel wat koppen uit halen.
Ik gebruik het liefst ongezoete amandelmelk maar wissel dit wel eens af met sojamelk, havermelk of kokosmelk. Je kunt ook kiezen voor koemelk. Probeer vooral uit wat jij het lekkerst vind. Ik drink vaak s avonds een kop. Het geeft me een warm en ontspannen gevoel. Maar soms ook juist eerder op de dag of s middags als break.
